By Train:
Poughkeepsie Station (Metro-North Hudson Line / Amtrak) is approximately 30 minutes by car
Beacon Station (Metro-North Hudson Line) is approximately 35 minutes by car
By Bus:
Trailways Bus service includes a stop in Manhattan (Hudson Yards, 33rd Street & 11th Avenue) with routes to Rosendale and New Paltz, both of which are a short drive from the property.
Guests arriving by train can arrange ground transportation in advance through an Itinerary Designer. While rideshare services like Uber are often available, they cannot be guaranteed.

There are three dining outlets as well as in-room dining.
Clay offers progressive American cuisine focused on vegetables and well-sourced animal proteins.
The Great Porch serves bright, shareable all-day bites and drinks with views of the Shawangunk Ridge.
Dew Bar features casual poolside dining and summer cocktails and is open seasonally from Memorial Day to September 30, weather permitting. - What other amenities are available?

Pet Policies
- What is the pet fee?
The pet fee is $150 per dog. This is a one time fee. - How many pets are allowed?
Two dogs maximum are allowed. We are unable to accommodate cats and other pets. Guests must show proof of valid vaccinations before or upon arrival. - Are there special pet amenities and services?
Yes. Amenities are provided in the room upon arrival including a dog bed and food and water bowls. - Are support animals allowed?
Yes. Service animals are allowed and the pet fee is waived. - Are there any weight or breed limits?
Yes. Dogs must be under 75 pounds. - Can I leave my pet in the room?
Yes. Guests must leave the provided bone magnet on the exterior door when dogs are left in the room alone. - Which spaces can my pet enjoy?
We are pleased to welcome dogs in outdoor public areas, including The Great Porch. For the comfort of all guests, pets are not permitted in indoor public spaces (including Clay and Thistle), the pool area, or at group experiences and events.
To ensure a seamless stay:
Dogs must be leashed at all times with a non-retractable leash no longer than six feet.
Pets should remain off furniture and are not to be fed from the table.
When a dog is left unattended in the guest room, housekeeping service will be paused. Please place the provided magnet on your door to notify our team. - As a day guest, can I bring my pet to the property?
No. At this time, we are unable to accommodate the pets of day guests.
Spa and Recreational Amenities
- What are the pool hours and policies?
The outdoor pool is open daily from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, seasonally from Memorial Day through September 30, weather permitting.
During the colder months, guests may enjoy the indoor saltwater pool and outdoor hot tubs at Thistle Spa. The indoor pool is open daily from 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM and is reserved for guests with scheduled spa appointments. A limited number of day passes are available upon request. - Is there a spa on site?
Yes. Thistle, an Auberge Spa, offers holistic therapies inspired by the land and seasons. Facilities include six treatment rooms (including one couples suite), an indoor saltwater pool, two outdoor hot tubs, and a 3,500-square-foot fitness and movement studio. - Is there a fitness center?
Yes. Guests can enjoy daily movement classes as well as over three miles of on-property trails. - Is there golf nearby?
Yes. Golf is available locally.
